For over 90 years, PALFINGER has been an icon in the world of lifting solutions. As a family-owned business just 25 minutes from KISKA’s HQ, their signature red cranes have become globally recognised symbols of quality and reliability.

After decades of explosive growth, markets worldwide are becoming more saturated. It’s no longer just about selling great products or tech – it’s about building a strong, emotional connection between user and brand. And that’s where we thrive.

Turning reliability into desire.

Our work with PALFINGER began in product design, naturally evolving into communication – because the best communication stems from understanding. And who better to understand than the people who design? We helped PALFINGER sharpen their offerings, differentiate in a crowded market, and unlock their true emotional potential. 

 

Initially America…

When PALFINGER launched their truck-mounted forklift in the US, they faced a challenge: cranes had earned them trust, but other brands dominated the TMF market. To break through, we connected their new TMF with their proven portfolio, leveraging reputation and trust to make a big bang. The result? A custom-designed forklift, a bold communication strategy, and a strengthened foothold in the market.

 

…then Europe.

Meanwhile, Europe’s side-mounted TMF was a different challenge. As a late entrant to the market, PALFINGER needed to gain traction. Quickly. We delivered a sophisticated design with signature cues and created the “Shift Your Perspective” campaign. Simulatiously, the centre-seat TMF was released at BAUMA 2025, further developing their complete and compelling portfolio.

Dependability across the globe.

International success brings a unique challenge: maintaining brand across diverse regions, suppliers, and divisions. We developed comprehensive branding guidelines for PALFINGER’s distributors, ensuring a unified experience at every touchpoint – from website to social media to workshops. This effort maximised visibility and strengthened the PALFINGER brand worldwide.

From physical product to intangible.  

Our latest project focused on PALFINGER SERVICES, a sub-business targeting fleet managers. We created the “No Surprises” campaign, which taps into relatable frustrations and spreads awareness. Even in a B2B context, emotional connections drive decisions. Because even businesses are still human.

Through strategic design and communication, KISKA is helping PALFINGER transition from a product-driven company to a beloved brand.
