Why kid’s bikes?
Can you remember your first time on a powered 2-wheeler? That first rush of adrenaline? The first time you landed a jump? For many of us, it inspired a lifelong passion for motorcycles which has naturally passed down to our sons and daughters. And, as parents, the biggest thing we want is for our little ones to be safe, confident, and smiling.
But we saw an opportunity.
There was a gap between the MC-E 1.12 mini-balance bike and the next smallest powered 2-wheeler, the MC-E 3. A missing link. And to fill this gap, most parents would buy a petrol alternative from a competitor brand. We saw this challenge and decided to take matters into our own hands…and have a ton of fun in the process.
Get on the gas, little one!
The design of the GASGAS MC-E 2 is vibrant, playful, and generous, with bright graphics for a built-in fun factor. This little red rocket practically begs you to hit the skate park with your buddies and see who rules the ramps. Silent electric power. Premium engineering innovations. Removable, hard-wearing battery. And built from the ground up, giving kids (and parents!) the confidence to relax and try something new.

That ‘big bike’ feel.
Even though these pint-sized motos share characteristics with the bigger bikes, we wanted to avoid ‘copying and pasting’ the design. Our experts engineered from scratch – starting with an idea and battery – applying our rigorous process to every stage to ensure the correct ergonomics and safety features for kids. From competitor analysis to detailed sketches, from CAD models to clay checks, from prototyping to product testing (with child test riders!).
Pushing the limits.
As a result, the MC-E 2 features some seriously exciting KISKA innovations, like floating battery baskets, micromovement haptic feedback, and kid-sized adjustable brake levers. The bike is speedy, with a responsive throttle, and a hot-swap battery system and quick charger, for game-changing performance in this category. Up to 100 minutes of riding time, plus a full recharge in under one hour – or use a second battery for infinite riding fun.
Safe for little hands.
We’ve packed these bikes with tons of fun – but thoughtful safety features too. We’ve coated the footpegs in rubber for safer tumbles and it automatically cuts power when lying down. The frame is made of aluminium for easy pick-ups, with an adjustable ride height to grow alongside your child. Trapped fingers and bike damage are reduced with encased motors, zero chains, extra-small brake disk holes, and rubber battery baskets.
Community-friendly.
One of the biggest advantages of opting for electric over petrol, aside from the obvious environmental benefits, is the near silent riding experience. Today, there are fewer and fewer places for kids to ride noisy petrol bikes without incurring the wrath of a landowner. With the MC-E 2, kids can tear it up around the track with no auditory drawbacks. Just give mum or dad a high-five, open up the gas, and go!

Made for the next generation.
We’re always thrilled to see a product do well in terms of sales or reviews – but the true test is the user effect. Our goal was to simply to get more young people on bikes, but the MC-E 2 has gone beyond that and has rapidly amassed a new cult following.
With this project, we’re keeping the beloved riding community buzzing – kickstarting a wave of potential motocross champions, enduro warriors, or track legends. This is just the beginning, and trust us, it’s going to be a blast.
