Kids are hard to create for. Their favourite shoes make them the fastest at the playground and the coolest in kindergarten. But superfit needed support to expand into a new product category. Our experts put our injection moulding know-how (and inner child!) to work to create the new Splash Collection.

In the creativity stage, we drew little monsters for each idea using AI, turning design elements into playful characters and enhancing the design vision for each direction. Expressive, fun, and a little mischievous.

Our designs for the SPLASH-C and SPLASH-S are all about joyful movement and fun, with a lightweight design with built-in flex grooves and grippy outsoles that don’t just support natural movement – they invite it. Bonus: those grooves? Perfect for rolling marbles when the shoes come off.

To bring our ideas to life, we presented the prototypes in a fully virtual showroom, an immersive experience that allowed superfit to view true-to-scale 1:1 shoe models in context. Using VR like this significantly reduces the time spent in feedback loops, giving us more time to focus on fine-tuning the design.

The silhouettes are soft and packed with personality. Iconic straps add comfort and make them easy to kick off when it’s time to run barefoot. Breathable openings mean they’re water-friendly, perfect for splashing around. Fun accents like the sunglasses-shaped strap and the clog’s ‘smile’ are designed to make kids (and parents!) laugh. The ultimate goal? Ensure kids’ feet are the stars of the show.

This is more than another collection. It’s a rebellion against boring designs, a celebration of movement and creativity, and a statement that great kids’ shoes can be as fun as they are functional. Together, we’re proving that even in a crowded market, there’s always room for bold ideas, big smiles, and a whole lot of play.
