Retention Periods
We will delete your personal data as soon as the purposes for which it was obtained no longer apply. We will retain your data for a longer period only to the extent necessary to investigate any detected attacks on our website (available at: www.kiska.com).

Our website uses so called “cookies”. Cookies are small text files, which are stored on your computer by means of your browser. Cookies may be set by us, or they may be set by third parties. We use cookies to make your experience of our website more user-friendly. Some cookies may be stored on your computer until you delete them. We also make use of “web beacons” also commonly known as “single pixel GIFs”, “clear GIFs” or “tags”. Web beacons are small graphic images that may be included on our Website. Web beacons allow us optimise our products and services and provide us and third-party partners with analytics information, such as how many visitors our Website receives. We may also use web beacons in our email correspondence to determine whether you open them or take any further action. We also work with other organisations to place our web beacons on their websites or in their advertisements. We do this to helps us develop statistics on how often clicking on an advertisement on a KISKA website results in a purchase or other interaction on the advertiser’s website.

For our Apps, we collect information automatically through the use of unique device identifiers (“IDs”). An ID is a specific string of numbers and letters (a “character string”) which is assigned to your device, but does not name you. The ID allows us and our selected third parties to track your behaviour when you use the App. Almost every App uses ID technology. Newsletter
On our website, you can subscribe to a free newsletter using our sign-up form, through which we will keep you informed about the latest and most exciting updates and projects from the world of design. Based on the consent you provide via the online form, we collect:

  • your first and last name
  • your job position and
  • your email address.

As the controller under the GDPR, we are obliged to be able to prove that you have given your consent to the processing of your personal data. Therefore, the following data is stored in this context:

  • Subscription date and time
  • IP address used to subscribe
  • Signup source (which form, landing page, API, etc.)
  • Consent information (if GDPR fields are enabled)
  • Marketing permissions selected by the user
  • Email engagement data (after emails are sent)

We process your personal data so that we can send you our newsletter and keep you regularly informed about updates and projects from the world of design. The legal basis for data processing, provided the user has given consent, is Article 6 (1) (a) of the GDPR.

Withdrawal of Consent to the processing of personal Data
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. To do so, you will find an unsubscribe link in every newsletter that allows you to withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data. Withdrawing your consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing of your personal data that took place between the time you gave your consent and the time you withdrew it.

Double opt-in Procedure
Subscription to our newsletter is completed via a double opt-in procedure. Registration is generally done using the sign-up form available on our website. As part of this process, you confirm by checking a box that we may send you emails. After completing the registration, you will receive a confirmation email from us informing you of your legal rights and asking you to consent to the processing of your personal data by checking another box. You will then receive confirmation that your newsletter subscription has been completed.

Age restriction

Data Processing under the Swiss Data Protection Act (DSG)

If you would like to contact us, there is a contact form available on our website that you can use to contact us electronically. The data entered in the form will be transmitted to us and stored. This includes:
