adidas Second Skin Concept | Eye Candy
It’s the footwear equivalent of putting humans on Mars: doable, but never been done.
The 66-gram shoe is a far-out goal, but with it, adidas and KISKA kicked off an eight-year partnership of branded design innovation. The goal: make innovation desirable with marketable design.
For the adidas Second Skin Concept, Product Experience Designers combined minimal structures, ultra-lightweight materials, and also prototyped the shoe as far as exploring manufacturing methods.
