As a Product Management Consultant in sporting goods and apparel, you’ll have a hands-on role in shaping standout products for top brands in the outdoor, motorcycling, bikewear, workwear and footwear industries! Your job? To get inside the minds of customers and match their needs with what the brand stands for. You’ll give strategic advice that drives innovation and helps these brands lead the pack. In this role you will…
- Lead market research to identify trends, consumer needs, and opportunities in the sporting goods, apparel industries and many other industries beyond that.
- Analyse customer groups and brand identities, translating these insights into in-depth product briefs and supporting portfolio or segment decisions.
- Provide strategic recommendations that influence product design, functionality, and long-term brand development.
- Conduct workshops and prepare client presentations, ensuring seamless communication from concept to market launch.
- Actively contribute to new client acquisition by supporting proposal creation and client outreach.
- Collaborate and communicate with cross-functional teams, including research, brand strategy, and apparel design, to deliver exceptional product outcomes.
We are looking for…
- A university degree in economics, marketing, innovation & product management, or design.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in product management or marketing.
- A passion for functional apparel, sportswear, workwear, or motorcycle gear.
- A strategic mindset with strong analytical skills.
- Curiosity about the product development process and a passion for brands.
- Fluency in English (German is a plus).
