Aligning technology and emotion
On the long and winding road to life in the future, many of us are asking the same question: will the product I’m designing for 2020 make sense beyond 2020?
At KISKA CrossTalks, leaders of automotive and sports apparel industries examined the topic from their own unique perspectives – exploring how we can design products today that not only satisfy current needs, but also shape expectations of what will be possible down the road. As the day progressed, the discussion focussed on a central theme: preparation for life beyond 2020 requires designing “in-between”. And, in the case of our guests, it requires designing in-between technology and emotion, with the end goal of aligning the two.
